Cevisama is forging ahead for its 2025 edition

Cevisama is forging ahead with promoting its upcoming edition, which takes place from 24th to 28th February at Feria Valencia

Following a sales trip to Italy last week, Cevisama has turned its full attention this week on the major trade fairs taking place together at the Feria Valencia centre:  Feria Habitat Valencia, Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium and Espacio Cocina SICI.

Cevisama is the foremost international trade fair for ceramic wall and floor tile, bathroom equipment, natural stone, machinery, glazes, frits, tints and colours for ceramic tiles industries and one of Spain’s major trade events. The fair’s last edition brought together more than 70,000 visitors, 28% of whom came from 156 different countries, representing major buying groups, distributors, retailers, wholesalers, specifiers (architects, interior designers, decorators and designers) and construction professionals.

The aim is to recruit trade visitors whose profile is of growing interest to Cevisama, in other words interior designers and contract sector specifiers (comprehensive fitting out of public facilities such as hotels, restaurants, hospitals and offices). The above events are attracting huge numbers from these sectors now and Cevisama has invested a considerable effort to promote and create awareness of itself. Specifiers’ first impressions indicate that this effort is achieving excellent results.

Cevisama’s stand is the first of the thousands of visitors who come into the fair from the Foro Centro every day. Complementing ASCER’s recent ‘The secret ingredient’ initiative, Cevisama has used this centrally located stand to stage a display of ceramic tiles and bathroom equipment provided by exhibitors, along with furniture made from ceramic.  The package and a promotional banner are designed to highlight the value of ‘made in Europe’.

Cevisama has been welcoming a great many industry professionals to the stand as well as specifiers and interior designers, to whom the fair is offering one night’s hotel accommodation so that they can attend the event’s next edition. The initiative is aimed at professionals who do not live in the Comunitat Valenciana and is being extremely well received.

Sponsoring ‘Hotel Habitat’ and ‘Agora Nude’

On another front, Cevisama is very actively involved in the various forums focused on interior design, the contract sector, design and innovation.  Cevisama is for example one of the sponsors of Agora Nude, Hábitat‘s lecture series reviewing the latest trends in design. It has also played a significant part in the ‘Hotel Habitat’ installation, the 800-square-metre hotel designed by prestigious architect Hector Ruiz-Velázquez, especially for Hábitat.

The installation is becoming the fair’s major attraction and Cevisama has used it to promote the use of ceramic in the different types of space found in hotels. Cevisama also hosted a workshop today in the ‘Hotel Habitat’ lecture zone centred on the use of ceramic in the world of interior design. The discussion group included:

Inma Traver of Vives CeramicaSergio Navarro of Casas InHausIsabel Castillo of Gayafores and Juan Jose Castano, of Keraben, with Ruben Pons, of Cima Consulting moderating the session.
