System Ceramics presents Infinity Sky

System Ceramics presents Infinity Sky, opening new horizons in digital printing

The panorama of digital printing for the ceramic sector changes and widens with the introduction of Infinity SKY, the new creation of System Ceramics, the Coesia company. This technological step forward takes printing quality to a higher level, defining new standards in terms of detail and resolution, and fundamental elements for the final result on the tile.

Infinity SKY is based on the well-established Creadigit Infinity, the printer that has raised production performance levels thanks to its unprecedented computing power. The reason is the latest-generation electronics set-up developed by System Electronics, with which the information for reproducing images on the ceramic surface is processed and managed in real time, ensuring greater precision and quality. Creadigit Infinity’s 12 or more bars, each of which can mount different heads, allows for a vast range of graphic effects, broadening creative possibilities.

Starting from these assumptions, Infinity SKY sums up the entire historical journey of digital printing and arrives at a visionary approach, with an advanced technological platform, projected at meeting market needs for the next 10 years. With up to 16 bars available for the entire production range, Infinity SKY offers digital printing of extremely high quality.

What are the disruptive characteristics?

Like all System Ceramics technologies, Infinity SKY is extremely reliable and designed to maintain its optimal conditions thanks to a set-up that minimizes wear. Each bar is equipped with a pneumatic lifting mechanism with a protection system that can be activated when not in use.

Its distinguishing feature lies in the new self-maintenance process to keep the heads in perfect condition, ensuring greater durability of the machine, printing over a long period and high quality for the entire (extensive) life-cycle.

During the lifting phase an inverted hydraulic recirculation set-upis activated, characterized by inkreplacement and emptying functionsin the tank, and by a system for recovering the solvent extracted from the deaerator. The inversion circuit is optimized with a plastic closure of the plate and the activationof ultrasounds both in stand-by and in production which helps disaggregate the ink sedimentation inside the heads.

This innovative self-maintenance process lengthens the life of the machine and the print quality, supported also by the use of water-based inks with regards to which System Ceramics was already a pioneer in 2016.

Finally, in the printing process, the transport phase is composed of a maximum of three belts: one for input, one for output and a central one, the latter always present, ensuring efficient and continuous transport during the printing process.

System Ceramics continues to innovate, offering solutions that combine quality, reliability and technological progress. Infinity SKY represents the future of ceramic digital printing, ready to revolutionize the market and meet the ever-growing needs of ceramic producers.
